Lincoln has a long and rich history, the city played an important part in the Second World War due to its production of tanks. Lincoln Central is the city’s railway station, which offers direct services to London. The M1 motorway runs some distance to the west of Lincoln, which can be reached via the A57 road; there are a number of other major A roads that serve the city, including the A15 and A46.

Secondary options include the Priory Academy LSST, Branston Community Academy and William Farr CofE on Lincoln Road. The University of Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste University provide higher education facilities in the city.
