Which RICS survey is best for you?
RICS – Level 2 (Survey)

This report gives you more information about the property whilst buying or selling a conventional house, flat or bungalow, built from common building materials and in reasonable condition.
RICS – Level 2 (Survey & Valuation)

The same as the RICS Home Survey – Level 2 but also includes:
- the surveyor’s professional opinion on the properties ‘market value’
- an insurance reinstatement figure for the property
- any problems the surveyor considers may affect the value of the property
RICS Home Survey – Level 3

Perfect for older, extended or structurally modified properties or those of non-standard construction.
This more in depth report focusses on the structure and fabric of the property.
When should you book your RICS survey?
The best time to book your survey is once you have confirmed your mortgage offer and your lender has arranged a valuation.
