The first recorded mention of Bromsgrove dates back to the early part of the ninth century, while the town also featured in the Domesday Book of 1086. It was granted market status in the year 1200, and has been an important centre for a number of trades over the years including the wool trade. The modern town has all the amenities you need, and is surrounded by lovely countryside which is ideal for relaxing walks.

Bromsgrove has a great location in the Midlands, not far from major city Birmingham. It’s around half an hour’s drive to get to the city, while trains to Birmingham New Street station take just over 20 minutes. The M5 and M42 pass close to Bromsgrove, giving the town great access to the national motorway network. It’s also fairly easy to get to local towns like Redditch, Kidderminster and Worcester. If you’re going on holiday, Birmingham Airport is just a half hour drive away.
