Maidenhead is a characterful town with a long history, and a much sought after place to live. It has a pleasant high street area with plenty of modern amenities including the Nicholson’s Centre shopping centre that is found on the site of the old Nicholson’s brewery. The popularity of Maidenhead in no small part down to its location close to London, which lies less than 30 miles to the east.

The M4 motorway passes to the south of Maidenhead, linking Reading, Bristol and South Wales in the west to London.
