Who are the CLC?

The Council For Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) deliver effective regulation of specialist conveyancing and probate lawyers that protects consumers and fosters competition and innovation in the provision of legal services.

The CLC were established under the Administration of Justice Act 1985 and are bound by statutory regulatory objectives under the Legal Services Act 2007 which describe what they must aspire to achieve for the public, consumers and the regulated community.
